The results of much of our efforts are found in the pages of this book. But beyond the many hours of preparation for this annual, the staff has worked dili- gently on many other projects. The sale of ads, movies, and concessions have all made this book possible. This year the staff raised over $2,000.00. I want to take this opportunity to thank our editor, Patti Sadonis. Her pleasant personality and willingness to work will never be forgotten by myself or the staff. 1 would also like to thank Jane Lindsey who for three years has handled the sale of our annuals. The annual staff has a bright future ahead. 1 look forward with pleasure to working with Tom Maa«en editor nf the lQ7fi rhe ANNUAL STAFF OFFICERS: Dave Potts - Photographer, Patti Sadonis - Editor, Maassen, editor ot tne 19 lb cne- Lu Anne Garnich . 97S Miss Nelson, more commonly known as 'Home- room,' is a great friend to all of us. She backs the students in all the sports, and is a familiar face at all the basketball games. When attending the games, it seems like she’s a part-time chauffeur and pan-time photographer! Miss Nelson was bom in Portland, Oregon and lived there until the age of 16, when she moved to Grantsburg, Wisconsin. In 1966 she graduated from Grantsburg High School. Miss Nelson attended Ponland State University for a quarter, and then transferred to the University of Wisconsin - Stout in 1967. She graduated from Stout with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics Education. Since graduation in 1970, Miss Nelson has taught here at Washburn High. 5
