OUR PRI CIPAL Here s L C BONAR, our PI'1IIC1p11l, at work as usual He 18 always l7Cl'1lI1Ll l'l1S desk to greet the teachers good mormng, and lb st1ll on the job when most of them leave 111 the CVCIllDg Countless matters come before h1m every day Students need help and advlce about courses, teachers seek lIlfOI'fT1dllOIl about classes and act1v1t1es, boys come 1n for excuses, the Stude11t Councll asks for a1d, an underclassman mlsbehaves, a parent calls, a book salesman drops by and so lf goes all day long But Mr Bonar knows how to cope w1th It all Through hrs educatxon and experlence, he IS well quahfled for the pos1t1on of pr1nc1pal, for although he has h1s A B degree from Marshall College and h1s M A degree from the Un1vers1ty of Pntsburgh Mr Bonar st1ll goes on work1ng and studyxng In the twelve and to understand thelr problems Even after they have been graduated he follows them 111 thelr work and keeps 1n touch w1th many who are out of town Mr Bonar s one of the most loyal supporters of all our school act1v1t1es He never mlsses a play, concert, or a chance to help cheer our teams to vlctory He usually drops by when a dance IS golng on, he enyoys the school Pl1bl1CZlllOl19, and sometlmes we even get hmm to put on skates at the Island r1nk S1nce Mr Bonar has been here many changes, for whlch he 1S largely responslble have taken place A band, Student Counc1l, Honor Socrety, and manv clubs have been organlzed Several years ago student partrclpatron 1n commencement exerclses was mstututed Several new courses have been added, the llbrary has been lI1CI'LZ1Stll, changes and lmprovements ID the burldxng have been made Mr Bonar seems to prove the old Sflylllg that IH organlzatron 19 just what 1ts command lI1g0fflCCI' IS nexther better nor worse Indeed hls plellllllllg, courtesy flI'ITlIlCS9, thoughtful ness, a11d hard work have helped make Warwood Hlgh School what If 15 today 5 I i ' . . . x' s he . .
