Mr. C. This caricature is a sort of self-portrait , done by our Mr. Chavatel himself. Although Mr. Chavatel is accus- tomedto being called upon to furnish a variety of art work for this and for that in a daily stream of requests, the annual staff had to resort to some crafty” persuasion to get this little item. By tradition, the dedication of the yearbook is a secret with the annual staff until the books are dis- tributed. This year the staff hopes to announce the dedication at a stu- dent assembly sometime in the late spring, when the ' 60 edition of the CAVALIER comes from the press. to Mr. George R. Chavatel, instructor in art, we fondly dedicate this record of happy hours made profitable at Warwick Junior High. Mr. Chavatel is congenial, friendly - greatly interested . He brings to class that spark of enthusiasm which ignites imagination and inspires students to greater effort.
