Better known to us as the French Club, this group of French scholars have banded together to further their knowledge of the French, their language and their customs. This being the first year that we have had a French class in the school is the first time that we have had a French club. These stu- dents meet with Miss Marilyn Feist after school. One student was talking to one of his tea- chers asking her for help in French. She told him that she had at one time taken French but she could not remember much now. All that she could remember was Parlez vous Francaise?Chevrolet coupe. 27 I

Junior High ' s Cavalier band is under the direction of Mr. Donald Bruno, bandmaster at our school since it was first organized in 1956. Students are justly proud of all organi- zations at Junior High, but no group, any where at any time, have done more to earn this school ' s admiration than our band. Mr. Bruno has spared no effort to mold this organization into one of the finest junior high school bands to be found anywhere. His pupils have consistently placed high in vari- ous competitions, and they have received tre- mendous applause for their programs in con- cert, as a marching band, in assemblies, and at athletic events. 29
