: Looking Forward To Looking Back ... The biggest event of the Junior year is the Ring Dance. Juniors gath- er to celebrate the arrival of their class rings. A large part of the cere- mony involves the announcement of each couple. When announced, the couple appears under the ring arch- way and turns their date’s ring. The Prom, an event only second to graduation is our last opportunity to capture unified memories as a class. We toast to good times, good friends and good memories. The evening, long awaited and prepared for is one of the most memorable of the senior year. Capturing these memories on film is only one more step in making them a part of our lifetime. Seniors as a class, look forward to graduation. Their excite- ment fills the air as they gath- er in Hampton Coliseum for the final event of high school life. Preparing for the proces- sion, friends offer to straighten a hat or hold a hand. Tears fill the eyes of many; as they real- ize that this is it. Graduation follows a set standard at Warwick. Faculty members, fol- lowing tradition, attend adorned in robes displaying the colors of their college and degree. The class song is performed by the senior Warwick- shire members. A speech is given by the salutatorian and then the valedictorian. The National Honor Society members graduate first followed by the rest of the class. Graduation represents the crossroads in every students life. Every student will go a different way, leaving behind the golden moments of high school at Warwick High. 4 18 Features
