Faculty, Staff, Administration .. . Putting it all together Perhaps the most important and the most overlooked aspect of a student’s life was the Faculty, Staff, and Admin- istration. When everything seemed to be wrong, guidance counselors were al- ways ready to help. Many teachers took the little extra effort necessary to make their classes fun. Not only did the teachers function in the role of educators, but also friends, advisors and helpers. Some teachers excelled in their teaching abilities to the point that they not only taught their classes but they made their students want to learn. Others concentrated their efforts on sponsoring the clubs and sports that made attending school more enjoyable. Most students had a favorite bus driver, a custodial friend, or someone especially helpful or friend- ly in the cafeteria, office or guidance. All in all the faculty, staff and adminis- tration were necessary to put the pieces of a student’s puzzling life to- gether. Faculty, Staff, Administration « 25
