Foreword “Lost, yesterday, somewhere between sunrise and sunset, golden hours, each set with sixty diamond minutes. No reward is offered, for they are gone forever.’ Mrs. Sigourney The above quote is so very true. We of the 1962-63 annual staff feel that this year has been too meaningful to every student to be forgotten. We hope, as you thumb through the pages of THE WARWICK, you will be reminded of all the things that made this year outstanding— Those first confusing days last fall— the sole hop introducing Aurea Jorge, our exchange student— our new enemy, the IBM Machines— those dreadful smells from the chemistry lab— the sound of German in the halls— elections of homeroom officers— the two Merit semi-finalists— homecom- ing, without rain!— the Variety Show— college boards— bongo drums at basketball games— exams— new inter-club-council— leadership training week— SCA and class elections— Senior Prom— Senior Day— Exams again— and finally the most memora- ble of all events— Graduation! It has truly been a wonderful year worth remembering. However, the pass- ing of time may cause these memories to become dim in our minds. The annual has tried to preserve them forever in the following pages. 3
