DEDILVITION - .' .t ,'.LL This year two outstanding personalities hold the place of honor in our yearbook. Each, talented in his own field, has added a great deal of beauty and color to our school. All who have come to know them have admiration and respect for their untiriug efforts with the students. Our choices, with their individualities, well developed talents, good senses of humor, and winning ways have added so much to the enjoyment of our high school years. It is with great pleasure that we, the annual staff, dedicate the 1958 Warwick to Mr. and Mrs. Barclay Sheaks. Nlrs. FOREWORD Way back in the days when Vlfarwick was a rural high school the student body acquired the name The Farmers. Ever since. it has clung tenaciously to its beloved pseudonym, even when others sought to abolish it. The Staff of the 1958 Warwick would like to introduce a new addition to their family. His name is Freddie the Farmer, and his likeness will he seen throughout the pages of this book as he takes you on a guided tour of the 1957-58 school year. l reddie's knowledge of school life is vast and encompassing. for he has been at Warwick since the mid-twenties. He is equally at home on the athletic field or on the Vvarwick High School stageg in S.C.A. meetings or on the cafeteria dance floor. And. of course, no class would be complete without him. Yes, he is to be found everywhere, for Freddie represents the spirit of pride-pride for our school, our administrators, our teachers and student leaders, our way of life-that will live always in the hearts and minds of Warwickis students.
