Mr. Cox presents Mr. Sanford with a life membership in the National lfclilvatioii Association as a gift from all the teachers in the Warwick Public School System. I4 7 bese are our fldmfhlkfrarors, Miss Ruth Haverty, Mr. T. Ryland Sanford, Superintendent of Schools. Mr. T. Ryland Sanford. To the administration, the faculty, and students of Warwick, Virginia, this name means a great deal. It stands for the many improvements in our school, the varied curriculum offered, and the modern buildings., Mr. Sanford's able assistants are Mrs. Margaret Winder, Director of Instruction, Miss Virginia Mitchell, Director of Art Education, and Miss Ruth Haverty, Visiting Teacher. Mrs. Winder has the im- portant job of observing classes and advising cour- ses of procedure. Unknowingly, many times the students are influenced by her advice given to their teacher. Advising and helping our art teachers with new and old ideas is Miss Mitchell, who, among other things, arranges exhibits of the students' art work. Miss Haverty, as our Visiting Teacher, has the respect of the faculty and students here at War- wick. She is known for doing her job efficiently and well.
