Also we would like to apologize to Mr. Davis for the extra work we caused him by leaving the keys to our locks at home. Of course our conduct wasnt exactly good but remember we were just in the eighth grade. We returned to school our second year as veterans and felt more a part of the school. The name of out school was changed from Morrison to Warwick after much controversy between the students. The confusion became so great that the newspapers began calling us Morwick. Our third year started off with 1 'bang for we arrived at school and were greeted by flying roots. In case you dont remember the workmen had begun clearing trees and roots for our new stadium. This was made possible by the citizens of Warwick County. We shall never forget the thrill when our band made headlines at Winchester this year too. 14 lie ff if op Brass I nnu.Q.-.n.n-.n.ua..nn.a-pu.an..n.n--v.u. -'J ......................................Tret1.ru1'er y 5 5 7 7 . . . . C C C S 3 For the first time, our class became organized during our junior year when we realized that hard work and cooperation would make possible a prom of which we could be very proud Our work was not in vain for our prom was a huge success and garned recognition as one of the best ever given in our school Another thing which added to the importance of our lunior year was our long awaited school rings, even though many of them didn t fir We mustn t forget the arrival of our new coach, Bob Steckroth who has done a great job of coaching football and other sports To show their apprecxa tion, the citizens of Warwick County presented Coach Steckroth with a new car at the final game of the season s After twelve years of hard work we are finally to be rewarded, for we are now in the home stretch of earning diplomas Many preparations have been made for out departure from our Alma Mater We regret that Uncle Sam has interfered with the pl ins of many of our senior boys This is the year that we leave but our memories will always be with our school and we shall be watching it progress in the years to come ji?-2' 3' CAREY ADAMS ROBERT ARMENTROUT LEROY AVINGER J JACOB E BAER MIRIAM BALDWIN JEAN BALL l15l . 4 . 4 . , , . 4 4 , 4 4 4 4 4 4 . 4 4 4 4 4 4 . 4 4 4 2 4 . , 4 A- V V s 4 Z . These clubs create interest among the members and broaden our knowledge in special fields. Los Picardosf' the Spanish club, brings to attention our friends and neighbors South of the Border. Among the club's activities are parties, movies and many projects sponsored by the students. The members have presented assemblies which informed us of Spanish speaking countries. Ready and Willing are the boys in our Key Club. This organization was founded two years ago by the Hilton Kiwanis Club and is always willing to help the school in any way. As a social service club with twenty members, it is constantly working for the betterment of the school. The industrious salesmen of our school can be found in the D. E. Club. The members have part time jobs after school. From their own practical experience, they learn good salesmanship and the principles of business careers. Our Home Ec. girls belong to the F. H. A. Club. These girls are given the facilities and instruction necessary to prepare them for better homemakers. They learn the basic fundamentals from the experts and then put their knowledge to work. Sewing. cooking, and keeping house constitute the activities of this club which puts fun into homemaking. ,f it ' KEY CLUB +24 66 lf? ,AA X 1 XXX 1 11 1, 1 3672101 1 At Then Bw!
