On behalf of the administration and faculty at Warwick High School, I extend my appre- ciation to the Warwick Yearbook Staff for their many hours of hard work in producing this yearbook. The Warrian provides the ad- ministration, teachers, students, parents and community members with an opportunity to remember the highlights of the 1984-85 school year. This yearbook shows the many different activities, both in the classroom and extracurricular, which comprise a school year. I'm sure as this yearbook is read, the readers will both remember and share in the pride which has become a tradition at War- wick High School. This yearbook captures the true meaning of Warwick High School, people working together to provide a quality educational program. Mr. Stephen A. Iovino Principal Picture this - if you will, fifty years from now. What will the typical Warwick High School student be like? What will high school life be like? And best of all - what will your life be like? This query will be answered in your lifetime after you have spent a major portion of your career working towards your goals. The long hours of hard work, dedication and commit- ment, which is the price one must pay before reaching his goals, is often too much for most humans. Will you convey to your peers just how worthwhile the education you received at War- wick really was! And will you remember how diligently your teachers toiled to help you attain that grade of A, B, C, or even D! These brief years of earnest endeavor and happy fellowships will surely afford you many pleasant life memories. The many friendships and the pleasureable recollections of these high school years will live with you forever. In the years to come, your life will be a reflector to society, and what you have gained during your years in school will be a sum total of your experiences. Your success in the future will be greatly determined by your actions of the past, honesty in your dealings, sincerity in your purpose and determination in your efforts. As you enter a new era in your life, may the lessons of citizenship, fair play, sportsmanship and trustworthiness you have learned, help you surmount the more difficult times in the future.
