Being normal freshmen, shy and unaggressive, our minds weren't on making money. Since we were more concerned with getting to the right classes and being accepted, we had time only for a pen sale and a couple of dances. At homecoming, we showed our inexperience through a float which the wind destroyed. The following year, being older and wiser, we were hoping for a more profitable year. We spon- sored a few dances, but'at homecoming, the audi- ence saw a re-run of our ninth-grade folly. Humiliated by the lack of funds for the upcoming prom and floats, we, as juniors, became deter- mined to change our past. We held two dances, and a magazine sale in addition to a candy sale which totaled S'l5,000.00. We created an Evening in the Orient for the post prom, which was a suc- cess. The highlight of our junior year was our home- coming float, Knock 'Em on their Can-Cans, which stayed together, placing first. W With such a successful junior year, we were ready for anything. As seniors, this was it, and we wanted the bestl We arranged a three daysftwo nights class trip to Williamsburg, Virginia. In order to ac- complish the trip,.we held three sub sales, a maga- zine sale, three dances, a mug sale, and a T-shirt sale. We also held refreshment stands and once a Body Art stand at various school activities. Our float, Scare 'Em SheetIess, won second place. We had an active, busy year, and we were able to accom- plish our goals. The memories of our four years will always remain with us as we take our separate steps into the future.
