SPANGLER, WE DEDICATE THIS YEARBOOK When we think of people who have given years of service to W. I-I. S. and the community, a number of people come to mind. But when we add energy, talent, enthusiasm, and good public relations, then certainly Mr. Spangler is the Mr. Charisma of the group. ' lf any specific talents deserve mention over the others, it probably would be his ability for searching out for W. H. S. the finest of teachers and maintaining in the entire school community as esprit de corps. Mr. Spangler received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from W.l. U. and has given 35 years of service to the educational community, 25 of them to the Warsaw schools. After four years in the State Office of Public Instruction in Springfield, We are happy to have him in our midst again and deem it an honor to dedicate this yearbook to him with the best of Wishes for his retirement. 3 Happiness is. . . W. H. S. must be defined as its people--people who comprise the crowds Which fill the halls from 7:45 every morning until long after the 3:20 bell. Assuming primary responsibility for the general overall management and smooth operation of the JAMES SPRINGS school is Mr. Springs, our superintendent, whose natural skill and good judgement has led us to be proud to call him our leader. Assisting him is Mr. Barabas, now in his second year as principal, Whose abilities are appreciated by all who have the privilege of working with him. The students are proud to call him friend and advisor Mr. Barabas is very capably aided by Mr. Gladson, assistant principal, Whose post is enforcing rules, keep attendance records, and maintaining discipline as Well as many other duties. Together these administrators complete the important job of fulfilling the school's re- sponsibility to the parents by providing a Well- rounded education for their children. They work tirelessly in their offices with many hours spent long after the students have left the building. ,qi I ,K I .avi T Q I FN kr J , N A, 1 ' , . t A x is I JERRY BARABAS WILLIAM GLADSON 58 Q 1 A S W5 t , T 1 , SEATED: Richard Mulch--Secretary, Robert Roskamp, Robert Clark, Harvey Meeker--President, George Davis Richard Lucie. These men, legal officers elected by the people of our district and leading men in our community, are truly the foundation of our school. They will probably never get the thanks they truly deserve g so We, the members of the Year- book Staff, would like to express thanks for the student body of Warsaw High.
