Class H zstory The fall of 42 found many eager boys and girls about to enter the fust grade Under the leadershrp of Mrss Maggre and Mrss Fowler as our teachers we had a successful year of readrn wrrtrn and a slrght brt of nthmeuc As the days of our grammar school years passed on there were many memorable mo ments Qalthough some were slrghtly unpleasanty There were the tunes when the teacher would leave the room havrng told some student to take names wlnle she was out The lrst was usually headed by Jean Thompson and John Steed Kas can be expectedy Then there were the occasrons on whrch we were made to write hundreds of trmes I must not chew gum for erther stay rn at recessj lt wasn t long before we found ourselves rn the seventh grade Now we were over at the hrgh school burldrng and were being consrdered as young ladres and young gentlemen qby Mr Harmon at leastj Two more years and we would be hrgh school freshmen! At last that tune came and we as freshmen found the opportunrty of bemg rn hrgh school and changrng classes qurte thrillrng For our ninth grade chapel program the Englrsh class presented a play Pearls rn whrch some of the grrls dressed as boys We found rt most amusmg and qurte a task gettmg our harr short so suddenly As Sophomores we still drdn t seem very rmportant when compared wrth the much envred Senrors Some of the grrls drd get to go to the banquet though as waitressesl to make money for the Junror Senror Thrs was followed by the Junror Play The Nxtwrts whrch was very successfully duected by our sponsor Mrss Newkrrk By thrs trme we had enough money for our Junior Semor whrch was held at Lake Tut on Aprrl 3 The place was beauufully decorated and the banquet was a big success Srnce Chrrstmas of 53 we have been wearmg our class rrngs whrch to us, sym bolrze a lot of hard but happy years of workmg together The end of the year found most of us rather exerted at the thought of berug a drgnrfred semor the next year and lookrng forward to our last year at Warsaw High hoprng rt would be a successful one Frnally the day of our Senror Prrvrleges arrrved and as Semors we have had a busy yet enjoyable year and are proud that we are wrllrng to co operate wrth Mrss Newktrk our Senror sponsor rn dorng our very best rn everythrng At last we the senrors of 54 frnd our footsteps leadrng down the arsle to the completron of our hrgh school career and those long warted for drplomas.
