Small town lacks ♦hat of big town The place where I come from is a small town. They think so small, they use small words... Peter Gabriel included these words in his song Big Time as he preachedthat a small town is not the place to start if you want to make it big. Compared to a big town, small towns had little to be desired. There were few restaurants so many people had to eat their mother ' s cooking. The closest mall was an hour and a half away in Springfield and the nearest hospital was thirty minutes away. In a town with the population of Warsaw, most people knew everyone else. This contributed to getting caught everytime you did some- thing wrong. Entertainment was very scarce in Warsaw. The only things to do were go to the show, drive around town until you were out of gas, and go to parties. Tracy Martin said, 1 don ' t like living in a small town because too many rumors are spread and they travel very fast. A quiet day on Warsaw ' s Main Street is typical to that of tvlain Street U.S.A. in smail towns.
