C ass T rop iectj 1962 Ha ' ing studied English literature into the wee hours, these words of Alfred Lord Tennyson were ringing in my ears: For I dipped into the future, far as human eye could see. Saw the vision of the world, and all the wonder that would be. Suddenly, I was transported far into the future - to the year 1986, to be exact, and the sights I saw and the news I heard were almost unbelievable. I found myself sitting in the wait¬ ing room of the Wendell Patton Youth Center located on Pinehurst Corner in the northwest section of Warsaw. As 1 sat there, Mr. Patton ' s private clerk, Cecil L. Nothing but the best for Fingers. 1 guess that everyone knows that Fingers married that lovely beauty of the ninth grade, none other than Miss Janet Mc- Kenny. Charles Hale has started his own business entitled Have Goodies - Will Travel. From what I ' ve heard, he deals with only the best of the goodies - candy bars. Some one stated that he had an annual income in excess of a million dollars. He got his start at Hinson ' s Supermarket. Wendell told me that David Pitts is happy as Commander-in-Chief of army and navy. He often is called on to help his old friend, Bobby Reamy, who is a chief astronaut for the Midas project. George Packett has just returned from Le Mans, Paris, where he raced his quarter of a million dollar Plymouth. George informed me his black Plymouth wouldn ' t go over four hun- Continued on page 80
