Last T)i Iand Testament We, the seniors of Warsaw High School, county of Richmond, state of Virginia, in the year of our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty, being sound of body and having depreciating minds, do make and de¬ clare this our last will and testament. We, the seniors, have taken up a collection and bought a yo-yo for the freshman class. This will help them to develop quick minds and nimble fingers for their coming years at W. H. S. To the sophomores we leave our ability to adjust to high school life and hope their career will be as happy as ours. Now, the Juniors I First of all, Jennie Lou France and Jimmy Davis will their moron and corny jokes to corny Mr. I. Q. himself, Dave O ' Dell. Oscar Delano leaves his F.F.A. jacket and souped-up Impala to Edward Thrift. We hope that Edward has as much success with the crops as Oscar has had on the drag-strips. Harold Hinson leaves the Pitcher ' s mound, and all his romantic poems about Betty to the entire Jun¬ ior class. Freddie Barrack leaves his wit to Will Sanders. We hope that Will uses the half that Freddie never learned to use. Mary Ogle Tayloe wills her ability to strut after scoring a point in basketball to Constance Packett. It takes a lot of practice to score a basket, but the wiggle comes naturally, eh, Mary Ogle? Carole Tallent wills her brains and straight A report cards to Orren Hinson and Barbara Saunders in hopes that those two together can accomplish half as much as Carole did alone. Wayne Oliff bequeaths his boon hat, loaded dice and his rosey cheeks to Bobby Shrader. We hope that the cheeks won ' t clash with your hair, Bobby I Barbara Jean Smith leaves her motor scooter, bear traps, and lassos to Gretchen Sutton and Pattie Camper. All of these items were formerly used by Barbara to chase, trap and snare her favorite victims. Judy Peyton, that flashy redhead of Warsaw High, wills her ability to act on the stage, but mostly off, to Keron France and Carolyn Oliff. Gloria Adams leaves her brains and good looks to anyone who can qualify for them. If you are in¬ terested, you may secure an application blank from Gloria ' s private secretary, Shelby Sanders. Shelby is getting practical experience for her coming years at Pan American Business School. Mary McKenney and Gloria Hynson leave their sure aim with an eraser to Patsy Bowen and Nancy Allin. Their motto is Why should the devil have all the fun?” Harvey Hinson leaves his knowledge of all the parking places to Tim Brown. It takes keen eyesight and fancy handling of the wheel, Tim, but we think you qualify. Norman France leaves his crowded bus number 12 to the free wheeling, dare-devil driver - Sandra Packett. Ann Hall, Agnes Harper, Jane Lang, Shirley Webb and Shirley Wilkins, who all have one thing In common, engagement rings, leave to the school library the latest novel on cooking, A Thousand and one ways to Prepare Hot-Dogs, by the world renowned chef. Piere Leslie Claybrook. Tommy Sabotka leaves a box of Baby Ruths to Mary Charlotte Barton. Many times through the years, we have seen Tommy running over to the bus terminal to buy Mrs. Pauline Delano some sweets. By the way - we have just heard that Tommy and Mrs. Delano are to be investigated by the School Board on payola charges. The senior class has purchased, for Johnny Harper, a roll-away cot which can be conveniently stored In the closet. We want to make Johnny as comfortable as possible while he is taking his frequent naps during English class. Melvin Mozingo, Wallace Withers, and Harroll Woolard all said that they would leave something if they had something to leave, but since they will need everything they have, they ' ll just leave. The Senior Class leaves its old, battered-up erasers, teachers, and all the good ole times we ' ve had at Warsaw High to the on-coming classes.
