Trisha Ring, Shannon Knowles, Polly Rowland, Doug West, Rob Penttila rap their little hearts out Target is a new club this year headed by Mrs. Dick and Mrs Ramey. It was created to get students more aware and involved in the community. They tackle the problems they feel are important by using a group solving approach The members have sponsored many events throughout the year They involve the memorial dance for Bobby Jorgenson, the giving tree, Christmas chain links, and penny drive. They also “targeted out” two students from each class once a month that they felt had special qualities. It was also in charge of the second “Together We Can Make a Difference Day.” The theme this year dealt with many different problems teenagers face, such as peer pressure, suicide, sexuality, and drugs and alcohol. The day was planned to be fun but also educational.
