Trisha Ring and her date dance the night away aft the Home- coming Dance. The Warrenton High volleyball team scrambles to “bump” the ball over the net during the Homecoming volleyball game. The last event of the week was the Homecoming Dance. This year’s theme was Kokomo. The theme was selected from many entries. The school decided this popular song fitle fit the aura of the week. The activities and decorations were all based on this one word. Kokomo is a nonsense word meant to express a special place where everyone is friendly and they all get along. From the looks of things, this seems most appropriate for 1988. So far the year has been great and with only eight more months fo go, things can only get befter. “Great Balls of Fire!” The Senior class cheer on their mates during a competition. Tena Vert is in hysterics as Jason Doan tries on her extra uniform. Homecoming week is a mem- orable time in the life of high schoolers. A week of com- Petitions, costumes, games, and all out fun! Even the teachers and advisors were involved. When the end of this special time neared, new memories were made at the first formal dance of the year. The Homecoming Dance. This year crowned queen was no other than Ronda Lee.
