Music was provided by Dead Weight Sophomore Sock Hops Are Big Success For Student Council This year the Student Council tried a different approach. In- stead of having the usual Sadie Hawkins dance they decided to have several smaller dances after home basketball games. Sock-footed students danced in the gym to music from a record player. Admission was only 25C and attendance was large; stu- dents agreed that these were the kind of dances to have. 27 I Can't Be That Funny! Keep On Truckin''. Is This A Student? Throw in The Teacher! Although they have only been formed for two years, their contributions to WHS have resulted in a better athletic department. Such things as red blaz- ers for the basketball team, painting the bleachers, equipment for filming the home games, and dis- tributing both home programs and bumper stickers to show their support for our Warriors. They have also taken time out to show loyal support at our home games and have organized transportation so they can back us at away games. For all of this, we at WHS would like to say thanks .
