Hackman. FIFTH ROW: Ulett, Hoeft, Greer, Eversmeyer, A. Collins, Hoelscher. The FFA judging teams enjoyed great success this year. Four teams qualified for the state contest. The most success- ful team was the Soils team, consisting of: Verlyn Schulze, Glen Haverkamp, and Pete Lenzenhuber. The team received a I rating and placed third in the state. Verlyn Schulze was second high individual in the contest. The Meats team received a I rating and placed ninth in the state. Both the Dairy and Field Crop teams received a II rating. Future Homemakers of America The Future Homemakers of America enjoyed a prosperous year. For their major moneymaking project, FHA co-sponsored a Soc Hop on December 7. At the dance, Arnold Hackmann was crowned FHA King. On the evening of May 2, FHA held a Mother- Daughter Tea. The tea was a fitting conclusion to a year filled with work, fun, and excitement.
