JUNIOR VARSITY CHEERLEADERS 1967-68 was the first year W.H.S. had a squad of Junior Var- sity Cheerleaders. The girls have to be Freshmen or Sopho- mores to become a Junior Varsity Cheerleader. This year the captain is Dianna Jones and the co-captain is Linda Fleer; they are both Sophomores. The rest of the cheerleaders are: Gail Dreyer and Patty Fields, Sophomores; Toni Anderson and Gail Zuroweste, Freshmen. Some of the reasons for having another squad of cheerleaders is to make less work for the one set of cheerleaders, and to give support to our Freshmen team. By having Junior Varsity Cheerleaders, as well as Varsity Cheerleaders, our school is represented at every game. Nothing like being on time! Left to Right: Gail Zuroweste, Toni Anderson, Patty Fields, Linda Fleer, Gail Dreyer; CENTER: Dianna Jones. 24
