It is published every four weeks. Its purpose it to relate to the students the interesting events and happenings in and around school. Such things as sports, current news, editorials, fashion news, news from the organizations and classes, and a section for the snoop , jokes, and the inquiring reporter provide interesting reading for the students. At the beginning of the year the staff changed the name to The Tomahawk and added an attractive cover and drawings by the staff artists to each issue. George Gerdeman, editor, and Joyce Harrison, business manager, express their appreciation to the staff and Mrs. Helms, the sponsor, for their help during the year. 27
