WARRIORS The Warriors had a fine season again this year. They finished with a 26-4 record. Two of the losses were in the conference and cost them the championship. The other two were in the sub-regional and cost them the chance to go to the State Series. As is the case with good teams all losses are likely to be crucial. Except for these two occasions the Warriors were invincible as they piled up victory after victory. They captured the titles in the Warrenton, California, and Eldon Tourneys. This is the second title in three years at California. They had to be satisfied with second place last year. Two members of the squad have won All-State honors. Larry Luecke was placed on the Second All-State Team last year and Ronald Wegener won that honor this year. Luecke, Wegener, Roedder, Hedeman, Anson, and Dreyer will be lost by grad- uation but there is enough strength left in the squad for another fine team next year. Kenny Roedder, Larry Luecke, and Allan Hedeman were elected as honorary co-captains at the close of the season. I TEAM FRONT ROW; Roedder, Remmert, Wegener, Luecke, Hedeman. BACK ROW: Coach Helms, Derdeman, Juergens- meyer, Blaue, Anson, Dreyer.

TOM-TOM STAFF The Tom-Tom was designed to give the students news of the events that take place in our school. It furnishes them with sports news, fashion news, class and organization news, and gossip. The Tom-Tom staff publishes our paper every three weeks and sends several sub- scriptions to former students. We sell approximately 150 copies of the Tom-Tom to students, faculty and patrons. We had a very successful year, thanks to the able assistance of Mrs. Helms, our sponsor. 28
