Lady Cardinals Finish 21-7 The Lady Cardinals finished with a 21-7 record. They won the Macon County Vol- leyball Championship. The varsity team placed 2nd in the Deland-Weldon Tourna- ment and 4th in the Eisenhower Invita- tional. The girls also played in the cham- pionship of the Regional Tournament held at Monticello. Lori Napier was named MVP. Pam Pease and Lori Napier shared the Setter Award. Jcana Karch was named Best Server. Jill Cockrel was recognized as the Best Blocker, and Lisa Flitz was chosen Best Spiker. Lori Napier and Jill Cockrel were named All-County Team. W-L Runs To Victory After many nights of hard practice, the WLHS cross country team finished with a record of 7-6. Although the team only had five members, they all performed giving the team a fine year. The W-L runners ob- tained a fourth place finish in rcgionals which qualified them for sectionals. The team had an excellent showing at section- als. Adrian Angel was named most valu- able player for the second consecutive year. 1. Adam crosses ihe finish line. 2.
