Homecoming Makes A Musical Memory Musical Memories was the theme of Homecoming. The week included dress-up days, pep rallies, dances, a parade, and the football game between the Cards and the Eureka Hornets. Juniors won the class competition which included “Memories of Tomorrow Day.” “70s Day,” “60s Day,” “50s Day, and “Loyalty Day.” Wednesday night brought a sock hop. wiener roast, bonfire, and the announcement of the Homecoming Court. Colleen Boyle and Dan Tyler took honors as Queen and King. Despite rain and cold on Saturday, the Cards won. 48-15. At halftime, the Marching Band and the Pom- pon squad performed. The Juniors won first place w ith their float, “Bop to the Cardinal Beat.” Homecoming ’87 drew to a close with dancing to “Magic Company.” 1. Take it easy on the feet. Derrick. 2.
