Ceremonies honor graduates Eighty five seniors graduated in ceremonies for the Class of 1980. Salutatorian Tracy Ford asked her classmates to remember their high school years and not take them for granted. Brock Roby, co-valedicto- rian, warned the class to consider the past as they face the future. Co-valedictorian, Beth Somppi, thanking God, said high school years are years never to be forgotten. Awards and diplomas given, the graduates proudly marched out to be greeted and congratulated by friends and family. 11 12 13 Graduation 25

1 Beth Somppi was named co-valedictorian of the class of 1980. 2 Brock Roby, co-valedictorian, received the S.A.R. Good Citizenship Award and was recipient of the Bausch Lomb Science Award. 3. Tracy Ford, salutatorian, received the D.A.R. Good Citizenship Award and was recipient of the Illinois State Scholarship Commission High School Designate award of $1000 a year for four years. 4. Vicki Huber was selected by her fellow band members to receive the Don Flach award. 5. The Fred Gilman Choral award and the W.L.E.A. scholarship were awarded to David Eisenbarth. 6. Joy Cunningham received the Decatur Association of Educational Secretaries Scholarship and the Macon-Moultrie County Legal Secretaries Scholarship. 7. Linda Smith was one of the 28 seniors who held a B average or better for four years of high school. 8. Presenting the Class of 1980. 9. A happy graduate, Vicki Wickline. 10.
