A second former YVarrensburg-Latham High School student has given his life for his country. Private First Class FRANK BRACKETT died in the Bon Son Plains, Republic of Viet Nam on December 6, 1967. Frank, a member of the Class of 1965, will be remembered always as a friendly and kind upperclassman here at Warrens- burg-Latham. He died bravely and gave his best that we might have freedom of worship, freedom of fellowship. He gave his best for his country. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He was a man of laughter and enjoyed a good time. He held the respect of both members of his squad and his superiors and an out- standing friend to all of his platoon. He had enthusiasm and ability to get the job done, no matter how difficult the mission. Never will his courage be forgotten. Life begins and life must end. Life must go on though our loved one is gone. He has gone away. But memories still linger and will stay with us forever. Life begins and life must end. He is not alone for with him sits the One on the throne. Both friends and foe will remember all the memories that still linger. —Linda Wray

This year marks the end of an era in the history of Warrensburg- Latham District Number Eleven. After serving as our superintendent since the birth of our district, Mr. E. B. Allen is re- tiring. Over the past years he has guided us through the legal hassle which united our five communities, he has overseen the construction of our high school, and he has started us on the path to a unit grade and middle high school complex.
