“Lives of great men all remind us We can make our lives sublime, And, departing, leave behind us Footprints on the sands of time;” We, the Cardinal Staff, have chosen the above verse from Long- fellow’s A Psalm of Life as the theme for our 1959 yearbook. Each student who passes through our school leaves his own set of footprints for posterity — some are firm with a good sense of direction, some are wavering, and a few have no direction at all.
