Text from Pages 1 - 112 of the 1983 volume:

COME SAIL AWAY I’m sailing away Set an open course for the virgin sea, I’ve got to be free, Free to face the life that’s ahead of me. On board I’m the captain, so climb aboard. We’ll search for tomorrow, on every shore. And I’ll try, best as I can, To carry on. I look to the sea, Reflections in the waves spark my memories Some happy, some sad. I think of childhood friends And the dreams we had. We’ll live happily forever, so the story goes, But somehow we missed out On the pot of gold. But we’ll try, Oh Lord, we’ll try, To carry on. A gathering of angels appeared above my head And sang to me their song of hope, And this is what they said: Come sail away, come sail away with me. I thought that they were angels, But to my surprise, We climbed aboard their starship, And headed for the skies. Come sail away, come sail away come sail away with me. ----STYX HACKENSACK 1983 WARRENSBURG CENTRAL HDNVdlfO HDOA HOJ OOA MNVH1 i JVWVttV $ ( -4SJb 3HJ ?!$ jo Kiva g v hjim qw {yhd33H KIWI 0 lY i d3i i ■4i jjiC afiy 3 V'j yij Sbr JVH 40 4SS74 «b' 4K2 4VMJ 6 jlMP JX 'H-grn a63j jivh S' OMVJ iviO 'JVH363H C. As the school year began, I encountered many new experiences. Some of the differences on the formalities is referring to teachers “Mr.” and “Mrs.” instead of their first names, and having only 3 minutes between lessons rather than 10 minutes. Fortunately, the Sweet family has helped me to meet these new challenges with patience and understanding. I am sure the friends I have made and the events I have participated in will be a part of me throughout the years to come. Lycka till, ANAHID YOUSSOUFIAN In August of 1982, I, Ani Youssoufian, arrived from Alexandria, Egypt to the U.S.A. My studies will keep me here for 10 months. While I am here studying, I will be residing with the Doyle family. Mr. Doyle is a faculty member at the Warrensburg Central School. Mrs. Doyle is the perfect homemaker. It is a joy sharing this household. I am enjoying my stay here and gaining a lot of experience. I am in the senior class and a member of the honor society. I am also on the yearbook staff and will be “trying out” for the basketball team; I hope to do well. Mom, Dad Brothers Cheryl Connor: Cheryl, As graduation day comes near we have this message for you — Dear we love you and we’re proud of the many things you’ve done. As a daughter and a student you’re “A Number One”. Love, Mom and Dad Bob Zwart: Bob, Our pride in you is just beginning. Whatever you set out to endeavor, you will accomplish.
