The Juniors won the tournament, defeating their opponents by a large score. This was due la1'gely to the playing of Golay, Bozarth and Mathews. These boys proved to be too much for their opponents, both on defense and offense. The last game of the tournament, between the Juniors and the Faculty, proved disastrous for the Juniors. They played their same steady game, but were unable to control the tip off as in previous games or get through the faculty defense for short shots. Age and years of experience were too muchpfor them. Interest in inter-class games has been growing each year, and we hope to have even a better tournament next year. J Page Forty-two H 1 Q 3 1 '

A mere tame, puny thing. with no fighting power. As with a tiger, so with The Tigers , without the Tigers Roar , they would be powerless. We may have not indulged in many artistic drills, but we are at least unique -if you know what that word really means, and the One that we did put on was a whopper-the' famous drill at Dockery Gym. Some funny minded wit may exclaim that the old tiger must be in a decline, so feeble is its roar at times. Perhaps we haven't been up to standard so far as volume is concerned, you see the old voice is in a state of metamorphosis a11d so rather uncertain these days, but some roar is better than non roar, isn't it: Let no one, then, have the temerity to disparage the 'Tigers' Roar of 1930-'31. The members of the Tigers' Roar are: Junior May CPresidentJ, Bill Foster CVice-presidentl, Robert Mayes fTreasur- erl, Rodney Fitch CSecretaryJ, John Luecke CSergeant-at-armsj, Arch Joe Beatty, Buddy Belt, Leland Culp, Bill Chambers, John Robert Estes, Frank Golay, Marion Greer, William Greer, John Hollyman, Harold Howard, Kenneth Jones, James Mayes, Harry Priest, Bill Stockton, Marvin Taylor. ,.1 9 1 Page Forty-one
