} PR RE igi ily F THE 1987-88 OLE LADY STAFF | EDITOR — Jane E. Kalbaugh PHOTOGRAPHY — Diane Sproles Potter Joy Edmonds | ADVERTISING — Elizabeth Brigham | Tommy Duke Greg Raxter DSCS. eo ue aU Epilogue ........... 104 We all know the triad of work, study and service at W.W.C. is an important philosophy to our college. What we need to be reminded about occasionally is that even though those three items are important individually, their magic happens when you apply them all to each other. When you do that, W.W.C. is a place to open your mind, prob old and new ideas and challenge yourself and others. Through this yearbook, we invite you to not just sit back and let things happen. Instead, CHECK IT OUT and do something about it. WARREN WILSON [IE - _—_ Sieannanos 87 COLLEGE STUDENT 88 _ PARKING PERMIT ALMA MATER Where the stalwart pioneer built his highland home, Still our college presses near Frontiers yet unknown. Gold of sun across a sky Cast of mountain blue, Glorious banner, heaven high, Calls us to be true. Take your place and do with us What tomorrow needs of you. When the shadows sweep the light From the face of day, Songs of free men break the night; This is what they say: God who raised our hills of home Guard our fortress still, Walk with us along the way, Teach us wisdom 'til Like a thousand stars by night, We shall faithfully lead the way.
