Raul Alejandro Garcia Garibay, son of Ramiro and Emi- lia Garcia, was the second foreign exchange student at Warren. Born in Monterrey, Mexico, he now lives with his family, which consists of his parents, one brother Rogelio and three sisters, Martha, Margarita, and Mirna . Rogelio and Margarita are also foreign exchange students residing in Michigan and Indiana respectively. He was with us for nine months, living with the Gary Wilson family . His schedule at Warren consisted of Art, Chorus, Civ- ics, Phys. Ed., Spanish, Algebra, and English, com- pared to that of Chemistry, Algebra, English, Litera- ture, Phys. Ed. , History, and Religion at Mexico. He was involved in the Spanish Club and was also a member of the Spanish Honor Society. In Mexico, Raul enjoys soccer, otherwise known as futbol. Raul said that there aren't many differences between here and Mexico, and he made the adjustment easily. When asked what he liked the most he said the people were great, but made it clear that he disliked English. His favorite foods are hamburgers and french fries, compared to tacos in Mexico. We enjoyed having Raul as a student here, and are looking forward to more foreign exchange students in the future. We also want to mention that Willy Aroca, our foreign exchange student of last year, has come back to work toward graduation at Warren High School. Willy's fam- ily lives in Peru and he is living at Fleming with the Gary Graham family. She really has a way with fish. Raul Willy and Raul
