VARSITY CLUB The Fellowship of Christian Athletes had several interesting discussions at their meetings. The main purpose of this group is to discuss and try to find an answer to problems which face athletes in today's world. The club also renewed its membership to the National Fellowship of Christian Athletes Organization. ROW 1: Jeff Schaad, Bill Hall, Mark Atkinson, Jim Mulinex. ROW 2: Jerry Hoon, Mitch Smith, Tony Baumgard, Kenny Meek, Tony Lane. ROW 3: Jerry Muntz, Craig Parsons, Mark Greenlees, Jeff Moyers, Dave Mason. ROW 4: Bob Brookover, Mike Adams, Charlie Kelly. The Varsity Club is an organization made up of students who have lettered in one sport at W.H.S. Members gave food baskets away at Christmas and held an Easter egg hunt for the children throughout the district. ROW 1: Charlie Barnett, Mitch Smith, Marvin Parsons, Ben McClellan. Officers of the 1976-77 Pep Club were Mike Chevalier, Presidentg Cindy Bolden, Vice-Presi- dent: and Linda Mulligan, Secretary-Treasurer. The Pep Club sponsored a bus to carry the school spirit to Federal Hocking for the sectional game. They made signs and put on skits to raise school spirit. They also gave out buttons to all the Pep Club members. ' - - A 4 P. i PEP CLUB G.A.A. The GAA was very enthusiastic in gymnastics, archery, volleyball, and bas- ketball intermurals this year. Head of the intermurals was Deva Coe. Elected as officers were Vicki Lowe, President: Kim Lowe, Vice-Presidentg Karen Wilson. Secretary and Ianell Johnston, Treasurer. All of the officers helped to make the club a big success this year.

Because the members were inexperienced, they also partici- pated in a number of practice debates within the club. Next year they plan to accept the challenge of entering into competition with debate teams from other area schools. who talked about taking Drama in Col- lege. To improve the acting ability in the club, they played charades to teach the fun- damentals of acting. The club also donated money to get the sound system fixed in the audi- torium.
