The purpose of Spanish Club is to give students a better opportunity to use the language. During the meetings, refreshments, music, films, games, and speakers are just a few of the items that make up a program. This year the club sold emblems to help raise money for various projects. The Spanish Honor Society inducted seven new members this year. To be inducted, a student must be taking second year Spanish and have an A average, or must have completed his second year with a B average. The main project this year was the Language fair in Athens. We had two first places: the puppet show . . . E1 Sombrero de Tres Picos, and the advanced level culture team consisting of Terry Bond, Dan Sprague, Raul Garcia , and Willy Aroca, two second places: Davida Adelsperger in the Level I spelling contest and Jeff Wilson in Level II: and one third place: Terry Bond in artifacts. FUTURE URSE5 The Future Nurses had a very busy year that included a field trip to St. Joseph's Hospital, guest speakers who talked about Cancer and Binh Control and a demonstration by the Little Warren Emergency squad.
