ROW 3: Judy Brown, Kathy Huettel, Patty Gibson. - Every year the Battle Cry Staff works hard to improve our school newspaper. In the 1976-'77 Battle Cry, the new column, Roundabout WHS was introduced. The regular six issues and the Senior Edition of the paper were filled with more action sports, pictures, and featured full size pictures on the front page. Co-editors of the Battle Cry were Ruth Aebi and Donna Meek. Donna Meek and Ruth Aebi: Co-editors.

The Junior Class play, Hessie of the Hil1s, was pre- sented on November 18th and 20th. The lead actors were Gwen Mathews playing Hessie, James Wright as Daniel Duckworth, and Lisa Stevens playing Arkansas. The play was a three-act farce situated in the Ozarks. The city slicker, Daniel, came to the mountains to explore and Hessie fell in love with him. In the final scene Hessie and Daniel decided to get married and everybody lived happily ever after.
