Despite the conditions which made the season rough, improvement was shown throughout the season. The Annual Warren Invi- tational was held with 9 teams in attend- ance. The team also entered in the 12 team field at the Belpre Relays. OMECOMING QUEEN VICKI LOWE The 1976 Homecoming week was filled with excitement for the stu- dents at Warren. Student spirit was high. Each class worked hard to show their artistic ability and cre- ativity as they tried to win the tra- ditional sign contest. On Friday, October 22, their spirit was let loose first at the pep rally then at the big game between the mighty Warriors and the Fort Frye Cadets . During half-time ceremonies, Vicki Lowe was crowned t11e 1976 Homecoming Queen by the 1966 Queen, Patty Nixon. Superintend- ent Jones presented the new queen with a dozen long stemmed roses. Vicki reigned over the Homecoming Dance with the theme Sundown Road. Everyone danced to the music of B1ue Fog. Mark Atkin- son presented Vicki a locket with the compliments of Student Coun- cil. Memories of the 1976-'77 Homecoming will be cherished for many years to come. 4.3
