MRS. IUDITH PIERSALL Effective communication is an aim of the English department. The curriculum consists of courses designed to develop communication through speaking, reading, writing, and listening. The English depart- ment stresses comprehensive read- ing, vocabulary development, logi- cal arrangement and distinctive power in writing. Through constant practice , students develop clarity and fluency in speaking and writing.
