In the last two years our team has had the best record ever at Warren. At the beginning of each season we stage a comical wrestling program in order to raise money for equipment. The year of l972 has been very eventful for the Girl's Basketball Team under the direction of Mrs. Boyd. They played five games, two with Fort Frye, one with Parkersburg Catholic, and two with Williamstown. They have thirteen players, their first string consisting of Colleen Smith, Debbie Smith, Karen Hoyt, Lynn Gribble, and Pam Birch. Their managers are Rhonda Bowen and Nancy Kidder. Girl's Basketball Team Any girl can be in G.A.A. The girls have intramurals during eighth pe- riod, and play volleyball, basketball, and shuffleboard. The G.A.A. also sponsored a basketball and a track team this year, and have competed in matches with other schools. The officers are: Pres., Dea Jarvis, V. The F.C.A. started out with only a few members, but now it is growing and more have become interested in it. The club is open to any boy at Warren High who has taken part in sports since entering high school.
