A good yearbook is the result of much dedication, hard work, and ingenuity. Membership on the staff has meant the investment of long hours spent in working on layouts or cropping pictures. L Sometimes cries of anguish could be heard when a headline would not count, tears came when the picture turned out blank, exclomations of delight were heard when an idea turned out right, and laughter often filled our room when students worked on a common project which symbolized the efforts of the staff of the 1972 SHIELD to publish a yearbook for their fellow students at Warren High School. t The Shield Staff
