This year the BATTLE CRY staff modified the paper into four columns and used more pictures. The paper used sales getters such as polls, sweetheart snapshots, Senior profiles, and a joke area. Warren High students were kept well informed by the wide variety of news. ,Ballle Cru This year the Industrial Arts Club held two turkey shoots and a Battle of the Bands to raise money for a camping trip and pizza party. The only requirement to belong to the club is that a student-be enrolled in the industrial arts program, and interested in promoting the Industrial Arts classes. Every year the Future Teachers give a scholarship to a senior stu- dent who is planning on becoming a teacher. The club sponsored the Sweetheart Couple Contest and Denise Hooper and Chip Spence were selected as the winning couple. The Warren High Chapter of OEA was operated only on a local level this year. lVlrs. Aebi acted as Warren High Chapter sponsor of OEA and together with the other club advisors, worked on the plans which in- volved joint participation of the four clubs. This year, each club took turns in hosting a joint meeting of the four clubs once a month. Individual meetings took place within the 'various blocks. The joint event of the clubs was the Spring Banquet held in IVlay. O.E.A.
