College Club Speakers from area colleges such as Rio Grande College, Ohio Uni- versity and Mountain State College came to provide information to members of the College Club. The speakers talked about the schools and the range of classes they offered. A former student of Warren High School, Paul Bricker, discussed his experience at college. To be initiated into National Junior Honor Society a freshman or sophomore must have gained recognition in character, scholarship, leadership, service, and citizenship. This year the Junior Honor Society sponsored the Belpre Bonfire. They gave a monetary award to the class with the most wood, and supplied free hot chocolate. The Honor So- ciety's year will conclude with the induction of new members and a dance. Every year the Future Teachers give a scholarship to a senior stu- dent who is planning on becoming a teacher. The club sponsored the Sweetheart Couple Contest and Denise Hooper and Chip Spence were selected as the winning couple.
