The 1970-71 Student Council began with new ideas brought by Rick Kahrig, Linda Mallahan, Debbie White, Linda lVlcAtee, and Kevin Place when they returned from the Student Council workshop at Ohio Northern University. The Council opened up a wider scope of business and assumed the responsibility for more projects around school. ll I Interclub Council is a relatively new organization at Warren High School, but within its short existence it has proved to be an efficient and effective club. The active members helped stage a relevant and exciting Christmas assembly, lt's Up To You. ' Other activities included spreading spirit and endeavoring to pro- mote involvement in school activities. National Honor Society National Honor Society built up its treasury lastnyear by a bake sale and a dance. This money was used to pay for the Semester Honor Roll Tea and the Induction Ceremonies. The N.H.S. sponsored a T.V. Honor Society Bowl Team also. The Society is used to give special rec- ognition to students with high grades, who take part in extra-curricular activities, and show the qualities of leadership, character, and service.
