MR. CHARLES YEAGO Band The Warren High School Band worked diligently through the summer and afterschool in preparation for the pre-game and half-time shows at football games. During concert sea- son the band performed many different concerts and also participated in the District 15 competition at Portsmouth receiving a superior rating. The stage band played for numerous occasions, including performances at the various grade schools. Much hard work went into the year, but band members agree it was worth it. MRS. VIVIENNE COLLINS ia -V M ' ,.,,, -',, ,rg , 1 , , ' ' 5 3 1 i I Q Art, to each student, is an individual thing. Art is an expression of the individual's thoughts, imagination and experiences put down in an artistic endeavor. Each student is allowed to create on his own with the proper motivation and guidance and is lead toward a path of freedom in artistic de- velopment. This freedom is encouraged. Only in art can satisfaction be found in the realization that one has created something entirely his own, apart from everyone else. This is the art program, where students are involved in exciting assignments that range from flat 2-D work in all media to 3-D constructions. Students have the opportunity to display their work in the annual End of the Year Art Exhibit which is on display in the cafeteria and Building One lobby. The art classes include Art I, Art ll, Commercial Art, and Oil Painting. Special Education The goal of special education is to achieve happy and useful citizens for our community, state and nation. We are primarily concerned with practical applications of our subjects for everyday living. We stress the importance of job preparation, job placement, and job re- tention. MISS SY LVIA YOUNG
