DEXTER ' ' BILL YOST - - BEN RODDY '- - ABE ULLMAN ' - MRS. STILLE Co-Editors, Nancy Nutter and Betty Dexter, printed headings for the newspaper under the guidance of Mrs. Stille. Each month the five students in Mrs. Stil1e's journalism class published the High 4 News. On several occasions you could see the journalism students gathering news for the paper. Although the work was hard and the hours long, the whole staff can feel re- warded as they see how much the paper was enjoyed by all. The staff discussed plans with Mrs. Stille for the paper.

HAMMETT Mrs. Hammett, adviserg Marjorie Stout, editorg and Dennis Keney, business manager, discuss plans for yearbook. Searching for facts, taking pictures, writing copy, making layouts, and editing, all went into the making of the 1961 Shield. Success did not come easy. Often a piece of copy was written and rewritten, and layouts were done again and again until perfect. At any rate, the job was finally finished - and here it is! Hope you like it. Mrs. Hammett's journalism class prepared the layouts for our yearbook.

Members of the Belpre High School chapter conducted the service as- sisted by Susie Dickinson, Judy McClain, and Catherine Tate. Members of the society are elected by the faculty on the basis of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
