BOARD of DIRECTOR MR. IOHN NEWTON SCOBEY DR. HUGH MOSELEY President Vice-President MR. H. E. NEELY Business Manager MR. CURTIS BLANKINSHIP Qi The Board of Directors hold regular monthly meetings in the Superinten- dent's office. At these meetings, the first Monday night in each month, together with Mr. P. H. Herring these men spend several hours planning the year's pro- gram. Through their efforts the tax- payers of this school were made aware of the immediate need for more space for both white and colored schools. As a result a bond issue was voted, and two new elementary schools planned. The building for negroes will soon be ready for use. The white school will be finished by next fall. Page 5 . LOUIS W.
