Mrs. Clevenger stated, Warren has always been a good place to teach because of the students who come here. S When she thinks back she remembers the fun Span- ish Club parties and outstand- ing C.S.F students. Mostly she remembers that she met her husband as a student in her Downey Adult School class, which was 20 years ago. ln the future Mrs. Cle- venger plans to teach several more years and travel to ex- otic places every summer va- cation. This summer she 's looking forward to Siberia and Mongolia. Mr. Amerkanian remem- bers all the territic students he had and the pleasure of associating with them from the September of 1956 to the present semester. His future plans are to tra vel and spend money. Ms. Saffell taught biology and physiology in her first years at Warren High. What she remem- bers most is her transition into counseling with 800 other coun- selors and her advent into her present job as Staff Administra- tor in charge of disipline and at- tendence. She feels over the years, Warren High is one of the best schools of the nation be- cause of the high caliber of stu- dents and faculty members who care. Her future plans are to continue to work as hard as pos- sible so that all students can get an education in the best possible environment. Q DEDICATION-313

Mr. Papa Joe Francis mostly remembers the school spirit and the togetherness of both the faculty , and the students. The desire on the students part to achieve academi- cally, and every one working to- gether made Warren if 1. Mr. Fran- cis plans for the future to be spent golfing, traveling and enjoying his grandchildren. 0, hFDlPA7'lnN Dedication This Page is dedicated to five very special people. Peo- ple who have helped shape the lives of the students they encountered, who have taught and worked with young adults for 25 years and who have been witness to the growth and development of this respectable school. The year 1981 marks the 25th an- niversary of Warren High. The school opened in 1956 Mr. Boyd was asked to reminisce about the first year Warren High opened. He remembers 400 sopho- mores a few buildings, no lawns or trees, no gym, stadium, pool, li- brary, music or drama room. He says it was a real spartan exper- ience. Mr. Boyd feels that watch- ing Warren High grow and prosper has been very rewarding. Mr. Boyd plans to do a better job in the class- room lperhaps this is an unrealistic goal for someone who does so well alreadyl and be a very active Min- nesota Viking fan lMr. Boyd's son plays for the Vikingsl. He also plans to buy property in the Gold Coun- try and retire as a millionaire ex- coach. ' . and was named after Mr. Earl Warren, one time Chief Jus- tice of the Supreme Court of the United States of America and ex-governor of Califor- nia. Mr. Warren 's daughter Honeybear Warren, was present at the dedication of the school and her name was the inspiration for our own Drill Team the Honey- bears.
