Discovering Life Through N6 tllfe Discovering Life through Nature is this year 's Biology Club. To learn about man and the role he plays in his environment, the club has such outdoor as: Catalina backpacking, whale watching, tide pool exploration, Grunion hunting, river raft- ing, zoo trips, clam digging and cross country skiing. The members are very enthusiastic about the club, and in or- der to participate in these neat events the club holds different fund raisers like a candy sale. The members engage in other plea- suresg for example, their Christmas party. The students take great pride in their club and use such words as very active, exciting , fun , curious , and en- lighting to discribe it. To strength their club they have elected ofhcers. They are: Pres.- Nancie Pratt, V. Pres. -Sandy Mitt- lemang Sec. -Margret Chu, Treas. -Amy Pratt. Their advisor, Mr. Johnson, feels that they enjoy every minute of the club, Mr. Johnson shows some of his club members how to clam dig. Showing us how much fun Biology club is are all the members on one of their raft- ing trips. Wres tlere ttes Form New approximately 50 girls who joined the club. Money was raised by a Im age bake sale and shirts were ordered for everyone. This club contribut- ed greatly in the support of the Wrestling team. Whether it was I In going to the matches, taking stats or making signs to support the ' Fearsome Foursome . ln the mid of the season each girl was given a slave in which she had to supply goodies to be secretly. The team enjoyed the treats and the girls enjoyed the fun of giving them. The club truely had a successful year. Elections were held and the cabinet was chosen. Willia N N X X X The Agape club has grown into some- what of a larger club this year. Through their meetings twice a week, they give up their lunch for the understanding of Christ and sing alongs. Their advisor, Mrs. Thomas helps the club with the Bible studies and extra activities. One of the activities the club has planned is to have Denny Clemmens, from the First Baptist Church come to school and give one of his famous Bible studies. Mary Lampley and Christina Bughen take time out from singing us their smiles. Walter Kelly notices our camera, while Keith Kerber shys away.
