Sports Groups Stay Active On And Off The Slopes This Years Ski Club took a couple ot' dynamic trips to the mountains to go skiing, One of the trips was to Utah. They skiied at Solitude, Snowbird, and Alta. During their trips they stayed up till wee hours of the morning just goohng around. They got up early and skiied before dawn so their skiis wouldn't get thrashed. lt was a grooling 15 hour bus ride up and back, but with Ms. Nichols around it didn 't seem so bad. Science And The Future The Oceanography Club did many fun things this year. They went to Marineland, whale- watching and clam-digging, tide pool research and identification of sea life. The club helps our school by giving 10'Z3 of their funds for the general student body fund. The purpose of th club is to further knowledge and appreciate for the Wonders of the Sea The Mortar and Pestle club is com- prised of top chemistry students from the previous year. They serve in the capacity of laboratory assistants. These Hne stu- dents help Warrenmaintain its outstand- ing reputation in the Held of science. -,. The main purpose for it is to support ath- letics in any way it can. lt also helps to inform the community of athletic activities. Some of the ways it raises money is by car washes, bake sales, donkey bas- ketball and athletic activities. Letterwoaman this year spon- sored the Sadie's. The reason for this club is to promote girls to get involved in girls sports. The president this year is Car- men Edmonds and Vice Presi- dent is Robin Felde. The advi- sors of the club are lst.
