U Now is the time to set aside all planning and work and 'start to dream. After many days of anticipation, we are glad to give you a book jam- packed full of memorks. In the '59 EL OROSO we have tried to represent every phase of school life and tell the story of our year in pictures. The only thing left for me to do as editor of this yearbook is to say that in spite of many rough goings and numerous misunderstandings, it- would not have been a success without each and everyone of you helping me so efficiently in the editing of our book. W Many thanks to Mr. Gustaveson, our adviser, who had the steady hand, understanding, and guidance to get us through the year, to Donna Jo, my unmatchable copy editor, who, day by day and night by night, put long hours of tiring labor into the EL 0ROS0,' to Connie and Barbara, for doing more than their share as co-business managers, to Matt, the art editor, especially for designing the cover and portraying the theme throughout the book, to Linda and Carolyn, our co-photography editors, for their fine work in taking and developing many of our pictures, to Leah whose work as organization editor cost her many hours of school and sleep, to Dennis, our sports editor,- who worked so hard to get things in print sometimes even before they happened, to Rosemary, our activity editor, for trying so hard to squeeze every activity into her section, to Doralee and Patti who handled the difficult job as co-senior editors excellently, to Marta and Howard, our miscellaneous editors, for working so hard to finish up each section and assist everyone. Also to the staff of Gillard Printers, our printers, to the staff of lnde- pendent Press Telegram, and Mr. Caywood, our engraver, and to Mr, Charles Pace, our photographer, go my sincere thanks for your wonderful help and understanding. Finally to the administration, faculty and students, gratitude is expressed by the '59 EL 012050 staff for your friendship, your coop- eration, and your labor. It seems that it was only yesterday when we were sitting on the football field at Warren High School graduation, taking our first bold steps into the future. Thirty years later we reunite to renew friendships and to catch up on the events of the past years. Your participation in the evening's festivities made all of our work worthwhile. The success of the evening leaves us with the desire to have a 35th Reunion in five years. Please keep the Committee updated on any changes of address or if you're interested in helping with our next get-together. Enjoy the memories contained in this booklet. We look forward in eager anticipation to when our great class of '61 comes together again to celebrate. Sincerely, Your Reunion Committee YOUR REUNION COMMITTEE fS N U g 1 ' if .
